Aceh: Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), and the Pan Ocean Remote Sensing Conference (PORSEC) collaborated through the **UTM–PORSEC–USK 2026: Capacity Building on Ocean Remote Sensing towards Climate Resilience** programme.

Held in Sabang, Aceh, the programme brought together participants and experts from Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand. Through technical training, hands-on data analysis, marine field observations, and collaborative projects, participants strengthened their ability to use ocean remote sensing to understand coastal and marine changes.

The onsite programme was officially opened by the Vice Mayor of Sabang, **Drs. Suradji Junus**. Tokens of appreciation were also presented to **Dr. Stefano Vignudelli** and **Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurul Hazrina Idris** in recognition of their valuable contributions as instructors.
